Vitaly Pugachev was born in 1989 in St.-Petersburg. He is the multiple laureate of the different competitions. He is the winner of the International competition named after V. Andreev (St.-Petersburg), the international competition-festival «The Peter and Paul Accordion Assemblies» (St.-Petersburg), the Moscow open competition «The Spring Voices» and 9th International competition «Vivat, Bayan» (Samara). In February 2003 Vitaly Pugachev participated in the 4th international festival-competition «Play, the Bayan» (Rzhev), where he won the grand price for high achievements in music. In 2006 he was the winner of both 2nd and 3rd prices at the «World Cup» competition in Norway. In 2005 he became the triple laureate at the international competitions in Italy (in Castelfidardo and Lanchano), winning two 2nd prizes and one 1st prize. In 2007 he again took part in these competitions, now wining all four 1st prizes.
