"I was inspired to create this song by the touching love story of a student Reyhana and the great Central Asian scientist and philosopher Biruni (XI century), shown in the Soviet film “Abu Rayhan Biruni” (1974). They had a hard fate, they were constantly apart. And in this song, they are together. For me, it's an alternate story, not so sad. Whether this is fiction or reality is not so important, such a story could well have happened. By the way, the movie is available to watch on YouTube for free. Biruni left a deep mark on history. At the age of 22, he built the first globe and expressed his opinion about the rotation of the Earth around the Sun. He was the first to calculate the extent of the equator, and applied the method of triangulation survey of the terrain, becoming the progenitor of geodesy.
